Dangerous Chocolate Mug Cake
("Dangerous" because it takes 5 minutes to make, so you can do it far too often--any time of the day or night.)
1 coffee mug
1/4 C flour
1/3 - 1/2 C sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
3 tbsp milk
small splash of vanilla
3 tbsp oil
3 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)
chopped nuts (optional)
Add dry ingredients to the mug and mix well. Add egg and mix well. Pour in milk, vanilla, and oil and mix well. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Mix again.
Microwave for 3 minutes on high setting. The cake will rise over the rim of the mug, but do not be alarmed. Let cool a little and tip it out onto a plate (for sharing) or eat it directly from the mug.
Easily serves two. Imagine it--still warm, with ice cream.
